1. I am a left-handed, Heinz 57 Multi-ethinic Mutt. My mother is Japanese/Hawaiian (but born and raised in Japan) and my late father  was of English, Irish, Spanish, and Native American decent ( but born and raised in the far-away exotic land of ....Portland, Oregon!).

 2. Although, technically an only child, my mother  had 5 miscarriages with her children before me. I was the only one to survive.

3. I got my SAG card when Director John G. Avildsen hired and Taft-Hartlied me for "Karate Kid Part 3". Thank you, Mr. Avildsen!

4. 2009 marked my 35th year of martial arts study. I am a 5th degree black belt in Okinawan Shorin Ryu which I studied with Master Tadashi Yamashita and Sensei Richard Rabago. I owe much to this training which has given me many opportunities and has taught me discipline, balance, control,awareness, and respect.

5. When my dad, William, died in 2005, I changed my name from "Christopher Paul Ford" to  my current name to honor him.  I've always liked that name which means "determined protector".

6. I lived in Australia as a small child for two years.

7. I have 2 great kids from a previous relationship. I'm a lucky dad!

8. "Casablanca" and "Roman Holiday" are two of my favorite movies but it was  Harrison Ford as Han Solo and Indiana Jones and  Bruce Lee's "Enter the Dragon"  that inspired me to want to be a part of this industry.

9. I  have a quiet intensity with a Samurai-like/Zen Master  calm ... But sometimes... it's a helluva lot of work being this serene!

10.  People have said I'm like Clark Kent, a pirate, a ninja, a magician, an Indian, and a boy scout all rolled into one....Really, I'm still that little boy who dreams of going on great adventures.

11. My four favorite women are my wife, my daughter, my mom and.... Audrey Hepburn.

12. I love coffee, Shakespeare, and banana flavored desserts... in that order.

13. I once worked at Disneyland as a janitor  on the graveyard shift.

14. I'm a Master of the Jedi Mind Trick.

15. I never play the "blame game". I take full responsibility for my career and life.
